Postage is now a Featured Tumblr theme thanks to the resident Tumblr designer, Peter Vidani.
It’s my first ever Tumblr theme where I’ve actually put the effort in to getting it onto the Theme Garden. All my previous themes were released through a lovely .txt file in a post on my blog. This time around it was my aim to create a theme for the purpose of getting it used by Tumblr users, other than myself.
Postage integrates with Disqus, Last.FM, Twitter and DailyBooth. Hopefully I can update and improve it over time however I’ve not used the theme manager enough to know what I can and can’t do in terms of working with an already submitted theme.
If you had already installed Postage or Postage Theme before please install the new theme as it includes all the updates and fixes it required to be approved.
It has support for submissions and ask me anything however they’re commented out due to them giving back errors when I originally coded it.
Version 3, help me test it!
I’ve spent the best part of today designing a whole new theme for Gre.gs. After seeing Panic’s email I wanted to try and design a skin using that typical red, white and blue stripes of a postbox.
So welcome to Version 3…
This time around I decided to develop the skin so it could be made available to everyone and I plan to submit it to the Tumblr Theme Garden as soon as I’m positive that everything is the way it should be.
