New Years Resolutions

I haven’t written one of these because I NEVER set any. I have never set myself any resolutions, as far as I know, over the 19 years I have seen New Years.

Still since it’s the done thing I think I’ll chip in my 10 to-dos before the turn of 2011. I say “to-dos” because really that’s what they are, in my case they aren’t resolutions as they’re not directly changing me as a person (as much as some people out there would like me to). Here goes;

  1. Release Zood
    Those of you who follow my life beyond the uninteresting and often pointless pictures and videos I post on here will know about Zood. Without a doubt it will be released before 2011 so this is going to be an easy one.
  2. Buy Gran Turismo 5
    I’ve been waiting at least 4 years for the release of this game and I’m starting to get a bit pissed off that it keeps getting postponed. As a little extra to this to-do, I also need to buy the steering wheel that goes with the game.
  3. 20k Unique Hits
    My blog has started to gain a bit of traction and over the past week has nearly gotten 2k uniques (6k-8k per month). Not a great amount to you big names out there however I’m loving all the new people interacting with my posts, causes my inbox to make a lovely glass sound (according to Apple).
  4. Leave UK Soil
    I love flying and I love foreign places, so to slim that down I love travelling. I want to go outside of the UK this year. Be it to the States, Gozo, Japan, Cyprus, anywhere! I don’t care as long as I can put my feet on some other country’s soil and say “DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH???”.

Summary of 2009

It’s been a weird year overall for me;

January

Returned to Coventry and back into work at Youmeo, full steam ahead on the upcoming BETA release in April.

Febuary

Still working on Youmeo BETA…

March

Again still working on Youmeo BETA. Released my mini Twitter application called Tweet O’Clock with Caleb. It was an instant hit and grabbed the number 1 trending spot on Twitter for a couple of hours.

April

Youmeo BETA is released to a small group of people and seems to be enjoying a new lease of life with this update. Work now moved to bug fixes and improving bits and pieces around the website.
